Faradic Stimulation and Syrebo C-12: A Single-Case Report

This 2025 case report describes a 60-year-old man with left hemiparesis after an MCA infarction. At three months and two weeks after stroke, he received faradic stimulation alongside Syrebo C-12 hand training, five days a week for four weeks.

What the report describes

The authors reported improved hand activity during a combined, professionally guided rehabilitation programme. The available abstract provides a qualitative account; no numerical recovery estimate is reproduced here.

What one case cannot establish

There was no control group. The account cannot isolate the independent effect of electrical stimulation, glove training or other care, establish long-term benefit, or predict another person's outcome. It should be read as an example of a clinical programme, not as proof of the glove's effect alone.
