Pediatric Hand Rehabilitation Glove for Guided Home Practice

The Syrebo C10 Kids is a pediatric hand rehabilitation glove designed for guided hand and finger practice. The set combines a child-size powered glove, a mirror glove and a controller to support repeatable practice at home or in a supervised rehabilitation setting.

Families and clinicians may consider the C10 Kids as part of a pediatric hand rehabilitation, pediatric upper limb rehabilitation or pediatric neurorehabilitation plan. A qualified pediatric occupational therapist, physical therapist or clinician should confirm whether the device is appropriate for the child's hand size, muscle tone, comfort and individual goals.

Why families choose the C10 Kids

  • Child glove sizes labeled for ages 3, 5, 7, 9 and 12
  • Left-hand, right-hand and bilateral configurations
  • Lightweight soft-glove design for guided hand and finger practice
  • Designed for use at home or in a supervised rehabilitation setting

Choose the correct C10 Kids size and side

Measure the child's hand length and width in millimeters, then compare both measurements with the child section of the size chart. If the measurements fall between two sizes, choose the smaller size as shown in the current sizing guidance. Select the affected side carefully: left hand, right hand or both hands.

Who may discuss the C10 Kids with a rehabilitation professional?

The device may be evaluated within a rehabilitation plan for a child with hand function impairment, upper limb motor impairment, hemiparesis, cerebral palsy, pediatric stroke, brain injury or another neurological or motor condition. These terms describe common pediatric rehabilitation contexts; they do not promise that the product will treat a condition or produce a specific recovery result.

Safe and supervised practice

Adult supervision is required. Follow the C10 Kids instructions for setup, sizing and comfortable use. Do not use the glove on an injured, painful, swollen, recently fractured or rigid hand unless a qualified professional has confirmed that use is appropriate. Stop practice and seek professional advice if the child experiences pain or unusual discomfort.

FAQS

Q: What Are Syrebo Robotic Rehabilitation Gloves?

A: Syrebo Robotic Rehabilitation Gloves are a form of hand function rehabilitation device, especially designed for hand dysfunctional patients caused by stroke or other diseases. Combined flexible robotics technology and neuroscience, the gloves can help patients carry out multiple trainings to help hand recovery.

Q: What kind of training can Syrebo gloves do with my affected hands?

A: There are up to 7 training modes to choose in Syrebo's household rehabilitation device. These trainings are to help your affected hand to passively flex and extend in the initial recovery stage and then start fine motor trainings to gradually recover hand function. More information about Syrebo training modes, please contact us via service@syrebocare.com or WhatsApp +86 13381869523.

Q: How long is the appropriate time for each session?

A: The time of each session should not be too long, it is recommended to control it within 20 minutes.

Q: How to set the training intensity?

A: Different users have different muscle physiological conditions, and the degree of rehabilitation and exercise is also different. Therefore, different muscle tension levels correspond to different recommended gears. Please refer to the instructions for details.

Q: What groups of people are suitable for this product?

A: Elderly people, young people and children who have motor disorders in their hands and need rehabilitation.

Q: What are the contraindications for using the Syrebo hand function rehabilitation robot?

A: Before training, please confirm whether the affected hand is in a stiff state. If it is stiff, manual massage and hot compress should be performed first, and training can only be carried out when the affected hand becomes soft. Do not give it to unconscious people or young children for use alone. If the hand has sprains, trauma, unknown bone injuries, severe osteoporosis, untreated fractures or fractures that require immobilization after treatment, do not use this product without confirmation by professionals.

Q: My hand has been dysfunctional for more than 5 years, can Syrebo gloves be helpful to me?

A: The duration of hand dysfunction is not entirely representative of the severity of hand dysfunction, which varies from patient to patient. It is therefore recommended that you refer to the Ashworth Scale below to assess the muscle tone of your affected hand. If your affected hand scores 3 on the Ashworth scale, please consult us before purchasing and we can recommend products based on your situation. If your affected hand scores 4 on the Ashworth scale, it is possible that the Syrebo glove is temporarily unsuitable for your affected hand. Modified Ashworth Scale 0(0) - No increase in muscle tone 1(1) - Slight increase in muscle tone, with a catch and release or minimal resistance at the end of the range of motion when an affected part(s) is moved in flexion or extension 1+(2) - Slight increase in muscle tone, manifested as a catch, followed by minimal resistance through the remainder (less than half) of the ROM (range of movement) 2(3) - A marked increase in muscle tone throughout most of the range of motion, but affected part(s) are still easily moved 3(4) - Considerable increase in muscle tone, passive movement difficult 4(5) - Affected part(s) rigid in flexion or extension

Q: How long do I train with Syrebo gloves to get my hands back to functioning after stroke?

A: Most of the hand function disorders after stroke are caused by damage to the nerve function of the brain. Therefore, the rehabilitation treatment of hand function is actually to repair the control of the brain nerves for hand movement. As you can imagine, this recovery process is slow and difficult. What you need to do is START AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE & KEEP TRAINING with Syrebo gloves on professional hand function rehabilitation, which will awaken the "potential" of your brain as early as possible, and restore the lost hand function as much as possible
