This brace is intended for adults who have difficulty lifting the front of the foot while walking and who have been advised that flexible external support may be suitable. Foot drop may occur after a stroke, nerve injury or other neurological or orthopedic conditions, but the correct support depends on the individual cause, strength, sensation, skin condition and gait.
Safety: Use a stable support or caregiver assistance when first fitting the brace. Do not overtighten the dial. Check the skin after use and stop if you notice pain, numbness, swelling, pressure marks or worsening balance. Seek professional fitting advice if you have reduced sensation, circulation problems, recent surgery, an open wound or significant ankle instability. This product does not diagnose, treat or cure the cause of foot drop.
