Syrebo BCI-Rehabilitation Training & Evaluation System SY-BR09 is an innovative rehabilitation training and evaluation system based on advanced principles of motor imagery and neural plasticity. This system is designed to assist patients in regaining their motor functions, improving rehabilitation effectiveness, and providing comprehensive rehabilitation assessment data for medical institutions.
The research team of Huashan Hospital found that the combination of brain-computer interface technology and conventional rehabilitation can significantly improve the clinical treatment effect of upper limb motor dysfunction in stroke patients. Specifically, after 4 weeks of treatment, the FMA upper limbs, modified Bathel index, modified Ashworth score, and upper limb manual muscle strength assessment of patients in the experimental group who received brain-computer interface system treatment were more significantly improved than those in the control group.
Non-invasive BCI principle
The neural activity of the brain is related to the movement intention. When the patient produces the movement intention, the patient’s brain signal is collected through the signal acquisition device, and then the computer is used to extract and analyze the characteristics of these signals. After that, the extracted The output features are converted into instructions and transmitted to the output device, and finally the output device completes the instructions, so as to achieve the purpose of controlling the peripheral (such as muscles, bones, etc.)
